Our Core Belief
Behaviour is Communication.
When children and young people feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, unsafe, anxious, or unable to express their needs verbally, behaviour can become the language of distress.
Rather than asking, “What is wrong with this child?”, we ask:
“What is this child trying to communicate?”
By understanding the function of behaviour and the experiences driving it, we can create responses that are safe, compassionate, consistent, and effective.
